Right-click on Bluestacks’ desktop shortcut icon and select Open file location from the context menu. If you do not have a shortcut icon in place, head to the following location C: ProgramData BlueStacks Client in file explorer. Locate the Bluestacks.exe file, right-click on it, and select Properties. (or select the file by left-clicking. BlueStacks is Android emulator which is basically running virtual machine with different operating system, therefore you can't access your files directly. You can find your data files under C: ProgramData BlueStacks UserData SharedFolder on Windows or Library/BlueStacks/Android on Mac, but the data files are in VDI format (VirtualBox drive image). After your virtual device has been created, click on the “Start” button to launch the Android Emulator. Once the emulator is launched, you will see that all the Google apps including the Play Store are missing. To install Google apps, click on the “Open GAPPS” button on the top right corner. This will download and install the Play Store. EDIT: To use the launchpad use the X+RT combo to open the pad and then press START, this should switch you to a mouse-mode, use that to select your destination. This is a normal Bluestacks feature(I found it by accident, lol. NOTE: All the keybinds are a bit ofset from visual, bluestacks moved them a tiny bit when I save and close the menu.

The Bluestacks service freezed; we need to terminate it. In order to do that you need the service PID. Go to the Start menu/Accessories and click it.
- Open the Task Manager.
- Go to the “Services” tab.
- Search for BstHdAndroidSvc or BlueStacks Android Service.
- Look for the PID column (if you can’t find it, inside the Task Manager go to “View/Select Columns”, select PID and apply).
- Now, keep the Task Manager open or remember that number.
- Go to the Start menu/Accessories and right click “Command Prompt“, then click “Run as administrator“
- A black background window opens.
- taskkill /f /pid ####(where “####” is the PID of the BlueStacks service)
- A message will appear telling you the service was succesfully terminated.
- We’re done.
- Go and re-start BlueStacks.
